Transforming an abandoned airfield into a vibrant community for the brave men and women who serve our city.
Our Misson
A Vision Rooted in Purpose
Hero Village is more than just a housing development — it’s a tribute. A chance to give back to the NYPD officers, FDNY firefighters, EMTs, and essential workers who make New York strong every day. We’re repurposing federally-owned land to build 20,000 family-sized, affordable homes and a future full of dignity, safety, and connection.

Transit & Connectivity

The Village will include a ferry terminal, adding a new stop along the Rockaway ferry route.
The Cyberlink Rail System—a state-of-the-art rail network—would connect Hero Village to the 2 and 5 subway lines at Flatbush Av–Brooklyn College Station. Alternatively, the 2 and 5 lines could be extended to provide a direct connection to the Village.
Building Beautifully Once Again
Hero Village features family-friendly brownstones with backyards and multiple
bedrooms. A walkable Main Street anchors the Village, with cast iron buildings for shops, restaurants, and local businesses. The design follows the President’s call to build beautifully, drawing from America’s golden age with timeless, traditional architecture. No towering megastructures—just thoughtful, community-focused development.
Behind the Project
Noah Martz is a real estate attorney at Arnold & Porter and a graduate of Brooklyn Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor cum laude. Driven by a conviction that every American deserves access to thoughtfully designed communities, Noah founded Hero Village to translate that principle into action. His vision is straightforward: honor those who have served our nation by building neighborhoods worthy of their sacrifice.
